Welcome, my name is Bruno Contreras Moreira and I have been in charge of the lab since late 2007. My background is in Biology and Informatics and I have trained in different places: the laboratory of Developmental Genetics of Antonio García-Bellido (CBM/UAM, Madrid, Spain) the Protein Design Group of Alfonso Valencia (CNB, Madrid, Spain) the Biomolecular Modelling lab of Paul Bates (ICRF/CR-UK / UCL, London, UK) the Computational Genomics Group of Julio Collado-Vides (UNAM, Cuernavaca, México), where I was involved (and still am) in several teaching activities of the Licenciatura en Ciencias Genómicas Scientific societies: International Society for Computational Biology BIFI Sociedad Iberoamericana de Bioinformática
